Gabriele Cotronei (they/he) is a joyful queer human being in continuous becoming, regularly challenging his internal status quo with a deep love for truth.
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to the mystery of being alive and the question of what it truly means to be human.
As a child, I began studying ancient Greek mythology, and from there my path unfolded into philosophy, the perennial wisdom traditions, Traditional Chinese Medicine, healing practices rooted in indigenous traditions, and ecopsychology. These explorations have always walked alongside my work as a psychotherapist.
My training has taken many forms: from psychoanalytic child and family observational studies, to somatic attachment and trauma therapy, DBT, hypnotherapy, and a training in Neurodynamic Breathwork. I am currently completing an MSc in Body Psychology and Body Psychotherapy, and undertaking a propaedeutic analysis in Jungian Analytic Psychology.
Along the way, I have had the privilege of working with and being supervised by gifted therapists, including Jeanne Magagna and Trudy Klauber from the Tavistock Clinic, traditional medicine doctors, and psychedelic facilitators.
My time in the psychedelic field also included training in Conscious Connected Breathwork and the deep honor of helping to support the formation of new generations of facilitators.

The heart of my therapeutic work is to hold space for people to feel the full range of their emotions and to become unnecessary in their own healing as quickly and effectively as possible. Many of us have been taught that our struggles are too much—or not enough—that we don’t deserve happiness, or that our pain pales in comparison to others’. Yet these emotions, even the hardest and darkest, hold important truths. My goal is to help clients walk more freely, autonomously, and sovereign through the beauty and complexity of being alive.
At the core of this work is a radical commitment to consent—supporting clients in recognizing it within their bodies, minds, and hearts, and empowering them to live in alignment with it. Together, we explore the places that may have felt too scary to visit or share until now. Shame can cast a shadow over these areas, but in therapy, you can find a space of acceptance, radical compassion, and care. I help clients notice where feelings are driving behaviors or attached to old beliefs, honor the protective stories these parts once carried, and gently release what no longer serves them.
My approach is not about pushing or directing, but about honoring unconscious defenses, asking questions that invite rather than compel, and guiding while preserving autonomy. Therapy is rooted in creating the conditions for a full life: alternatives to suffering, pathways to joy, and the possibility of transformation. I recognize that individual, familial, and community suffering are inseparable from cultural, economic, and political systems, and that mental health struggles are often natural responses to oppression and imbalance.
Together, we cultivate emotional resilience and stress tolerance, helping you reclaim your strength and show up in the world as your full, authentic self.
After years of working in public mental health with diverse populations, and in psychedelic care as therapist, facilitator, and consultant, I felt called to create something new.
From that impulse, Entheotherapy emerged—a response to the ecological and cultural crises of our time. Entheotherapy brings together people of different paths and passions to sit as equals at the table of diversity, weaving art, music, dance, food, body, thought, spirit, the seen and unseen into a living practice of care for the more-than-human world.
My hope is that, together, we can cultivate a playful, queering, and courageous awareness of our blind spots—so we may learn to see more, be more, contribute more, give more, and consume less, as we orient toward what lies beyond the Anthropocene.
